英会話レッスンからセルビアのパン屋のお話

英会話は教材通りもよいのですが、講師の生の声、ライフスタイルが聞けるのが楽しい。

本日の講師はパンが大好きで、セルビアのパン屋さんのお話で盛り上がりました。

日本ではパン屋はパン屋なのですが、セルビアのパン屋さんは

パン、ピザ、クッキーなんでもありです。

たぶん、日本には惣菜パンというジャンルがあるのですがセルビアにはないのでしょう。

Belgradians eat plenty of bread. In early times, bakeries differentiated itself by the type of pastry i. e. whether they bake only bread or all other pastries.

Today however, almost every bakery offers large choice of pastries. Belgradians longingly remember bakeries with a poor, but very tasty selection of pastry. Therefore, when a bakery is small and has a small selection of pastries, you know it tastes better.

In one guide about Belgrade, it is wisely stated that if a bakery does not sell pizza or coca-cola you are at the right place. If it sells only bread, burek and buns, you can't be wrong!
